phase two…

Today I’m happy to announce even MORE awesomeness happening for BR+A+CE’s mobile farm stand — are you surprised? We are unbelievably fortunate to be joined by Mid City Steel of Westport, MA, who have generously donated all the steel tubes for the farm stand’s frame. BR+A+CE relies on the support of community-involved companies like Mid City, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to them for supporting our project!

We’re also proud to announce that BR+A+CE has been joined by the incredibly talented Aaron Legg of Trimount Ironworks.   Aaron is a metal fabricator located here in Boston, and has recently worked with local organizations Artists For Humanity and Boston’s own Hubway.  Welcome aboard, Aaron!

In other cool news, the mobile farm stand has been getting some great of publicity from blogs — in addition to our crowdfunding campaign at www.indiegogo.com/mattapanmobilefarmstand we’re currently soaking in the internet love from design blog Inhabitat, Universal Hub, and local innovation blog BostInno.  Even more, look for us this Friday www.boston.com/mattapan.  Amazing!

Don’t forget — there’s still seven days to go before the close of our fundraising campaign, so head over to www.indiegogo.com/mattapanmobilefarmstand and tell your friends and family to do the same!
