Roslindale 30th Anniversary Block Party with Mayor Marty Walsh and The Big Hammock

Hey! Roslindale Village Main Street is celebrating their 30th Anniversary! They are celebrating with a huge block party throughout Adam’s Park and extending out on Poplar Street. It is going to be wicked fun!

In collaboration with Roslindale Village Main Street, there will be special readings ALL DAY by Friends of the Library with Liz Hughes of Barefoot Books at the hammock of our book, ‘Children All Around the World Enjoy Hammocks’. Now available on Amazon!

Check out all of the awesome vendors, as well as special guests, including Mayor Marty Walsh, at the Roslindale Farmer’s Market this Saturday, August 8th! Come buy some nutritious local produce, eat lunch on the lawn, listen to great music, and of course…

10:15 AM – Explo Activities with Chris Kollett and Dave Hamilton
11:15 AM – Creek River String Band
ALL DAY (9:00 AM – 1:30 PM) – The Big Hammock with story readings by Liz Hughes
of Barefoot Books and the Friends of the Library, Animal Craze Petting Zoo, a bouncy
